L.A. Girl's: Pro conceal review and swatches!

Today i wanted to share my opinion of these little wonders, the L.A. Girl's Pro conceal that i recently purchased.

Now, i know these have been around for like, ever, but i really wanted to see for myself if they were as good as what people say- and oh boy these are definitely a holy grail!

Okay so i know what you're thinking, why are THESE soo special compared to every other concealer out there? well, i'll tell you why!

I bought mine on amazon because L.A. Girl is an american company and product cannot be found in english stores as far as i am aware.  These can be bought online for roughly £4 each- a massive bargain for the outcome! The collection contains a whole bunch of different tone variations and shades, perfect for all skin types.

I only bought one concealer to start with as #1 i wasn't entirely sure what i was expecting, and #2 choosing shades online can be a little dodgy sometimes, lets be real.
The shade i bought to start off was Classic ivory. I have to admit that when it got delivered it was a lot more pink/orange based in the tube than i was expecting, however once on my skin and blended it suited my skin colouring pretty well because of my redness and pink undertones.

The consistency of the product itself is thick and creamy, although the packaging style makes it apply in thinner layers which is good as it allows you to build up the product until it is to your liking. The applicator is something I've never seen on any product before- its as if its meant to mimic a regular concealer applicator tip but using soft, fine bristles like a brush instead. To pump the product onto the applicator, the tube needs to be squeezed until the product can be seen coming through the tip. I'm not a massive fan of this technique as it is a bit difficult to get a lot of product out with one try- but hey who can complain for the price?

As i was such a fan of the first one i got, i decided to purchase 2 more. One in the lightest shade available for my under-eyes and another which was a colour corrector.
Along with the multiple choice of skin tones, there are also a small range of different colour correctors, i got a green- to cancel out redness, but there is also a yellow and orange for under-eye circles and blemishes.

I have not purchased the yellow or orange as i don't suffer with dark circles and my skin doesn't breakout often so i cannot speak on behalf of those, however i do get a LOAD of redness so the green corrector is perfect for my skin! When i'm doing a more 'flawless' makeup look, i will put the green on my affected areas- mainly my cheeks and around my nose. Will then blend with a damp sponge, or my finger as i find that works great too! The product is easy to blend and is easily buildable if you've overworked the product also, if used in moderation, will not turn your face an odd colour once foundation/concealer is applied. Then i follow with my foundation routine, with a flawless, even completion throughout my face.

These products have great coverage and are really pigmented. When using the product under my eyes, i like to put a fair bit of product on my skin so that it covers to my liking, then i blend out with my finger as i find this is the best way to work the product out. I set with a light powder and my under-eyes stay fresh looking all day! I haven't found a concealer that i've been this confident about since MAC's pro longer concealer, although you do have to use more product to get a full coverage look but for £4 its really not a big deal.

Below are images of my face with a before and after using ONLY the skin coloured concealers.
Before: skin completely bare of all makeup
products.
After: application of Pro concealer on my
under-eyes and
rest of my face.
(excluding eyelid/upper-eye)

Honestly, i can't see myself buying high end concealers for a while because there is just no need for me to waste my money when i am more than satisfied with this product! They can be used for a whole bunch of things, especially if you're into liquid contouring. I would definitely recommend you to try this product out as some point and see if you fall in love just as much as i did!

Whats your favourite concealer?
